The Excel Center operates three campuses within correctional facilities, as a
testament to our belief in second chances and the transformative power of education for
individuals and families who have been or could be impacted by being justice-involved.
Justice Education Campuses are specially designed to serve students interested in earning their high school diploma while incarcerated. While enrollment at these campuses is limited to those facilities, Excel provides the same quality high school curriculum and experience as our community-based campuses. Justice Education students who release prior to completing their high school diploma or who release after graduation are provided support and guidance to assist with the re-entry process and going back to school. Currently, The Excel Center operates Justice Education Campuses at Billy Moore Correctional Center, Coleman Unit for Women in Lockhart, and the Diboll Correctional Center.
